Hilltop Bliss – SF Family Getaway

In one of the most beautiful, calm, and centrally located neighborhoods San Francisco has to offer, this family home is the perfect base for exploring San Francisco. It has incredible views across neighborhoods, from Sutro Tower down to the Bay and is also only 8 minutes walking to either the vibrant Castro neighborhood or the locals' favorite Cole Valley.

Golden Gate Park, the Randall Museum, Twin Peaks and the world's best homemade hummus (Corona Heights deli, on the corner) are also nearby.

The space

The house has a front room looking out over a small public garden and a main bedroom with view windows and a 1950's era mural in the process of being restored (the owners found it after purchase, hidden under the paint). The kids' bedroom has two lofted/bunked beds, while the bathroom has a large shower and a Japanese soaking tub.

Washer/dryer are onsite, along with all of the regular conveniences of a family home that is actually lived in by a family. Street parking that does not require a parking permit is easy to find and both buses and the subway (SF Muni's Castro Station) are within a 10 minute walk.

The lower levels of the house, including the garage, are not included in the listing except for access to the laundry. Check back in coming years for a more spacious house!
