The space

The desert feels quieter here in winter. Mornings arrive crisp and bright, with pale light moving across the mountains and Joshua Trees, and evenings invite you to slow down as the air cools and the sky fills with stars.

Whether you are soaking in the hot tub after a day of exploring or settling in by the fire, the pace is unhurried and grounding. Outdoor living The outdoor spaces are designed for year-round enjoyment, even in the cooler season.

The private saltwater lap pool is available throughout the year, with heating available seasonally upon request. The hot tub stays ready for long evening soaks, and the outdoor shower adds a refreshing pause after swimming.

A shaded dining area and outdoor seating look out over desert, mountain, valley, park, and pool views, while the fire pit becomes the natural gathering spot once the sun dips behind the hills. Interior comfort Inside, the home opens into a bright, open-plan living area that balances comfort and simplicity.

Kitchen and dining The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at home, whether you are preparing a slow breakfast or a shared dinner after a day in the park. There is ample space to gather, cook, and linger over meals, making it easy to settle into a relaxed rhythm

Sleeping arrangements Four bedrooms sleep up to six guests, offering a comfortable setup for families or small groups. Each bedroom features memory foam mattresses, quality bed linens, room-darkening shades, and thoughtful storage.

Extra pillows and blankets are provided for cooler nights, helping ensure restful sleep after full desert days. Work, wellness, and extras A dedicated workspace with a desk, monitor, and office chair supports remote work or longer stays.

Light exercise equipment is available, and there is a private gym area within the building. An EV charger is available on the property, along with ample driveway parking.

Other things to note

You are very likely to hear (or see) owls, coyotes, roadrunners, spiders, and bunnies and bobcats. Our neighbors are very sensitive to noise and lights after 10pm.

No loud noises after 10pm Please bring flip flops for walking from house to the pool and hot tub and back as to not hurt your feet on rocks and the occasional cactus. The swimming pool is right outside the back sliding doors so this is not a safe space for young children or pets.

Any children staying on the property must be supervised at all times, and guests bringing children must agree to a pool liability waiver. With pets, a deposit is required.
